Co-Curricular Council

As always, the fall comes and football season starts. The try-outs were huge!

The coaches were working really hard to solve this hard problem of choosing the best people for their team, so here they are:

JV Girls          JV Boys          V Girls          V Boys

This year was the year of success for all of the teams:

For Varsity Boys the success came a bit later in the local league, but they were still able to come back strong. But it was not for long, in the semi-finals, the V Boys were a bit unlucky - the match ended with 0:0, and in the penalties the boys lost 5:6 from 7 penalties. But in the consolation match, the boys came back strong and won it 6:3. While in uzbek league, the Varsity Boys got only 3rd Place, but in Almaty they got the first place in the CASC!

For the Varsity Girls the success was with them through out the hole local league, almost until the end. In the finals V Girls were loosing 2:0, and thats when the luck went away for a moment - it was a miss in the penalty! But the team came back up strong and ready, and scored one goal, but were unable to score one more - so the final score was 2:1. And same with the Varsity Boys, the Varsity Girls got first place in Almaty in CASC, but only 2nd in the local league.

For JV Boys - it was a year of news - the year of innovation. The JV Boys started of with different skills, groups and personalities, but the coaches brought them together - which caused them to play harder then ever. The JV Boys won the 1st place in local league for their first time ever, wining the team they lost to in the qualifications matches 5:2.

Even though its only the second year for JV Girls, and they already were on top of the whole list. They won all of the teams in the league, except one, with who they tied. But in semi-finals and finals - they won with a huge win!

In overall - each team got a first place - JV teams won the 1st place in local league, and V teams won the 1st place in the CASC! Congratulations to all of the team members, coaches, supporters and all of the people that helped the league to happen!

Our seniors went to Central Asian Soccer Classic in Almaty as always. Both of the Varsity got the first places, and and here are the updates from the it.
